What causes lax and wrinkled skin?
The passage of time and extended exposure to the sun causes a process called photo aging. One of the most visible signs of photo aging is loss of elasticity, which results in wrinkled and saggy skin. As we age, several biological processes play a role in causing changes in skin texture and appearance. As collagen fragments there is a decrease in the number of fibroblasts– the cells that produce collagen fibers. In addition, as we age there is a progressive reduction in the number of capillary loops delivering oxygenated blood to the area. Loss of collagen and blood supply result in diminished nutrient supplies to the skin.
What causes cellulite?
Excess fat deposited in pockets close to the skin’s surface is commonly referred to as cellulite. The fat pockets are often focused around the thighs, buttocks and hips. The breakdown of collagen fiber strands combined with the accumulation of subcutaneous fat, cause the fat cells to bulge out, creating the famous dimpled look of cellulite. Cellulite is influenced by many factors such as aging and poor blood circulation.

The Magnetic Pulse component induces the release of growth factors required for the sprouting of new blood vessels, as well as for proliferation of dermal fibroblast.
